Pole Barn Trusses

Does it make sense to have shorter truss spacing?  We feel shorter truss spacing allows for the purlins to lay flat instead of on edge.  4 foot or 2 foot on center truss spacing also allows for a more compact and stronger building and some people call it "more connected or more tied in building."  If your considering interior work....the truss spacing will allow the liner panel installation to run smoothly.  A few thoughts to consider....

Who carries the liability on your building?

This could be a major decision that you make when you decide on your building project.  You should ask the business who carries the liability - is it the general contractor or the subcontractor?   Make sure that if subcontractors are used they have updated liability insurance.  You may save $500.00 dollars but end up paying $25,000.00.   #AtticaLumbercontractors

Attica Lumber pole barns in Ohio
